About Me

Chantea R. Wright is passionate educator. She brings over a decade of teaching and leading experience with her. Mrs. Wright received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Union University in history/political science and community based education. She holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Richmond and a Post-baccalaureate Graduate Certification in Administration and Supervision from Virginia Commonwealth University.

She has been recognized for her curriculum writing as the African American Civil War Museum “Best Lesson Plan” recipient and the 2014 Virginia Historical Society Brenton S. Halsey Teaching Excellence Award. She is also an alumnus of the Yale National Initiative.

Mrs. Wright brings her experience of teaching with technology and her passion for curriculum development to her role as an ITRT.
